Beginning each May, Annie's will have Iowa homegrown fresh vegetables and fruits available at our Road Side Stand when in season.
Annie's makes every attempt to seek out products that are grown and produced in Iowa. However, our experience for finding fruit in Iowa has been unsuccessful and we feel the need to go outside the state in order to bring you some of your favorites when in season. In 2011, we brought in Georgia peaches and were they ever delicious!! We are looking forward to having them in 2012. You can always give us a call and preorder as many cases as you like. Prices are not available at this time.
Items that will be available:
Lettuce mixes, asparagus, rhubarb, berries, peaches, apples, radishes, green onions, kohlrabi, spinach, beet greens, carrots, cabbage, celery, tomatoes, beets, cucumbers, leeks, shallots, peas, beans, carrots, okra, cauliflower, broccoli, potatoes, sweet corn, and a wide variety of fresh cut herbs just to name a few. We also have honey, organic eggs, and organic dairy products.
The road side stand opens in May and runs thru August, Monday thru Friday from 8 am to 6 pm.
